Use the current restriction note, emergency contact, visit limit, and expiration date fields to hand the pool off without inventing a separate pass model.
Current restriction note
Put the current closure, caution, or temporary handoff note in the pass so the caretaker sees the actual status first.
Emergency contact
Keep the first call visible before anyone starts changing the pump, chemistry, or access settings.
Visit limit
Use the visit counter when the caretaker has a short window or needs a hard stop after a set number of entries.
Expiration date
Set an end date so the pass closes on its own when the handoff is over.
